SAFESCREEN® Howrah Sunscreen is a broad spectrum mineral sunscreen with added sun protection from Silymarin. A great colour-matched sunscreen mousse for those with greasy skin types.

SAFESCREEN® Howrah Sunscreen brings the power of Silymarin to protect the skin against the sun. Ideal for those with very oily and greasy skin and for those who are sweat prone, safescreen Howrah Sunscreen is a very good starter sunscreen for the face. The best features of this sunscreen are its mousse consistency that gives you a matte finish, natural tinting with Silymarin that gives you a great colour match, and a blended nano and non-nano zinc oxide base provide good sebum adsorption.

The following methods were used for Safescreen Howrah-
IS 17493, in-house and in vitro ISO 24443 to test parameters like SPF, UVA-PF, Water resistance, Heat stability and Critical wavelength.

Carefully squeeze out the sunscreen up to 1 - 1.25 cm. And gently blend the product on the skin of the face to provide you with a matte, compact finish. Avoid applying on a sweaty face. It works best when the face is dry, if need be, under or against a fan's airflow.

Howrah Sunscreen works best for those who have sweaty, greasy skin but who also desire a better colour match. If you are someone who loves Besant, you may like Howrah a lot. The natural tint in Howrah comes from Silymarin, which provides a good complexion match with most Indian skin tones. With its mousse finish and light feel on the skin, Howrah has sebum adsorbing properties and works great as a sunscreen for the face. Safescreen Howrah Sunscreen is a mousse sunscreen and so has the effect of a finishing cream on your face. So, while you may be able to use highlights or contours with ease, it may be difficult to add on products like liquid foundation or cushion foundation over this sunscreen. By itself, this sunscreen gives a good, mattifying effect with minimized pores. If you need a more dewy finish with better blendability, you may want to consider SAFESCREEN Munnar or Teesta.

Safescreen Howrah Sunscreen is highly water and sweat-resistant for up to 8 hours. So once a day, reapplication would be sufficient for this sunscreen.

Double cleansing with Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser or single use of Avene Cleansing Foam / Cetaphil Foaming Cleanser would be adequate to remove Howrah sunscreen. If you wear makeup along with Howrah sunscreen, it would be better to use a biphasic makeup remover with daily exfoliants such as the Light Routine Easy or Milk Route Daily to thoroughly remove the product residue.

Layering another SAFESCREEN on top of SAFESCREEN Howrah sunscreen is not recommended as it has a mousse texture, because of which it does not easily take many other products on top of it.

Yes, you can apply OptiMIST WaterBody Aqua moisturiser a few minutes before applying SAFESCREEN Howrah sunscreen if you feel your skin is dry.

Safescreen Howrah contains antioxidant silymarin, because of which an additional antioxidant serum may not be required.

Safescreen Howrah contains zinc oxide, which by itself has blue light scattering properties and silymarin in this sunscreen repairs the damage caused by blue light. So an additional blue light blocking serum like Blue Block PM Serum may not be required during the daytime.

It is advisable to use SAFESCREEN Howrah in the daytime and chemical exfoliants like Light Routine/Milk Route in the evenings.

Nearly 80% of the ingredients in Safescreen Howrah Sunscreen are of natural origin with minimal silicones of less than 0.45%. This sunscreen contains blended zinc particles in which the nano zinc oxide is complexed with larger non-nano zinc to avoid absorption into the skin. Also, SAFESCREEN Howrah Sunscreen is free from chemical filters and other endocrine disruptors, making it safe for the skin as well as the environment.

There is no known mutagenic or carcinogenic potential in the ingredients used in Safescreen Howrah Sunscreen.
