No, LED lights do not have any particulate radiation like X-rays. They are simply sources of light whose wavelengths provide positive skin benefits.
LED light does not cause cancer. The LED source in Light Routine® LED Mask is similar to the LED lights in your home or the LED in the devices you use. In Light Routine® LED Mask, the LED wavelengths have been calibrated to provide specific skin benefits.
The Light Routine® LED Mask can be used by both men and women.
You can get the most out of an LED Mask by using it in a room without artificial lights.

If you are following any of the LED protocols and want to include Milk Route® Daily into your skin regimen, we recommend you do this after your LED session. However, in some circumstances where the redness from your home peel longer than 20-30 minutes, you can use the Green/Red combo-2 minutes each, for calming the skin and managing the redness.
The LED Mask helps with skin renewal, pigmentation and inflammation reduction. Sun exposure causes skin damage like premature skin ageing and skin tanning. Sunscreen is essential to protect the skin from the sun and preserve the LED Mask's benefits.

An LED (light-emitting diode) Mask is a DIY skin treatment that can be done at home. LED therapy is a form of phototherapy. Phototherapy is nothing but using specific wavelengths of light energy to create beneficial changes in the skin. Depending on the light spectrum and the wavelengths used, different skin problems can be targeted and treated.
The red LED light (630-700 nm) is the best as it has the most subcutaneous penetration depth. Red LED light stimulates collagen production and elastic fiber levels in the skin, improving the visible signs of aging like fine lines and wrinkles. It reduces skin roughness and gives it an overall smoother and plumper look. It’s known to increase type I procollagen levels by 31%, contributing to quicker wound healing. The red LED light promotes skin rejuvenation. It’s good for acne scarring, rosacea, bruising, and other skin inflammations.
The red light’s regenerative properties help tackle the negative effects of sun exposure and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
The blue LED light (400- 470 nm) is most often used for treating acne and maskne. It has proved to be successful in eliminating the acne-causing bacteria and reducing excess oil production in the skin. This, in turn, helps prevent acne, blackheads, and whiteheads.
Blue light also helps speed up the healing process and treats superficial dermatological conditions. It helps brighten and tighten the dull, saggy skin. It also comes with photoprotective properties. This color can also be used by those suffering from skin sensitivity as it reduces inflammations and purifies the skin.
The green LED light (495-570 nm) is great for skin brightening. It gives you radiant-looking skin. It reduces the hyperpigmentation in the skin to reveal an even-toned brighter looking skin. If you’re someone with super sensitive skin, this is your go-to color. It helps calm and soothes your skin. The green light protects you against sun damage and helps in controlling acne.
The orange LED light (585-620 nm) helps revitalize your skin and gives it a brighter look. It improves your complexion by transforming dull, lackluster skin into brighter and lively-looking skin. It’s well known for its ability to reduce skin sensitivity, especially on Indian skin types, due to its unique design. The orange LED light also provides photoprotection. It helps reduce wrinkles and fine lines, the most common aging signs present in the skin.
LED Mask benefits are related to the condition for which they are used. This decides the choice of colors that would give the best results.
We recommend using the Light Routine® LED Mask for a minimum of 3-4 months at the initial intensive plan. For best results, continue with the maintenance plan as advised in your product insert, depending on your specific skin goals.
The best LED face mask is the one that can be used consistently by a user who understands the device. As a DIY skin treatment tool, the user should pick the protocol correctly and keep titrating the skin goals as needed. For best results, please read through the protocol guide given with your device in detail.
LED Mask works great for the pigmentary types of dark circles. Since there can be more than one underlying cause for dark circles, we recommend that you speak to your dermatologist and get your type diagnosed first. The goggles must be snugly fitted when targeting the dark circles.
