SAFESCREEN® Darjeeling Sunscreen is a moisturiser compatible sunscreen, ideal for extreme weather - hot or cold, where the skin gets dehydrated very easily. It works great even solo without a moisturiser for those with very oily skin and for those who are prone to heavy sweating on the face. This sunscreen has been tested in high altitudes and in sea exposures and works to reduce skin tanning. Safescreen Darjeeling is boosted for better SPF protection with Butyl Octyl Salicylate, which is a top ingredient in recreational sunscreens, with a very safe EWG rating of 1.

Safescreen Darjeeling Sunscreen has been tested for the following parameters - SPF, UVA - PF, Water resistance, Heat stability and Critical Wavelength using IS 17493, in-house and in vitro ISO 24443. Clinically tested on volunteers to evaluate for sun tanning on exposure to high altitude and water sport.

Apply 3-4 pumps of SAFESCREEN® Darjeeling on the face and neck about 5-10 minutes after applying a moisturiser. You can skip the moisturiser if you generally have an oily skin type. For usage on the body, for extended sun exposure, we recommend a moisturiser to be definitely used before layering the sunscreen on. You can also use the dual-layer sunscreen rule for better product durability.

Safescreen Darjeeling Sunscreen SPF 60+ needs a moisturiser when used in colder climates or in high UV outdoors. If the skin is very oily on the face, you can skip the moisturiser, and the sebum will act as a moisturiser. For the body, it is recommended to use a moisturiser before applying this sunscreen.

Safescreen Darjeeling Sunscreen is a very water resistant (up to 8 hours), durable sunscreen. It is recommended to reapply once per day.

If Safescreen Darjeeling Sunscreen is used alone, double cleansing with two rounds of Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser or single use of Avene Cleansing Foam / Cetaphil Foaming Cleanser would be sufficient to remove this sunscreen. If you also add on makeup over your sunscreen, it is advisable to use a biphasic makeup remover along with daily exfoliants like the Light Routine Easy or Milk Route Daily to completely remove the product residue.

Yes, you can layer OptiMIST WaterBody Aqua moisturiser before applying safescreen Darjeeling Sunscreen, as it is a moisturiser-compatible sunscreen.

Yes, you can use White Pine Mousse or Mirror Glaze first, followed by SAFESCREEN Darjeeling Sunscreen after 15 minutes. But if you have oily, acne-prone skin, it is better to use Darjeeling sunscreen alone.
