As the name suggests, SAFESCREEN™️ Madras Marina is an authentic outdoor sunscreen to manage hot summer like in Chennai. It controls sebum secretion, thereby giving a cool sheer look even in hot weather.
All SAFESCREENS™️ were tested thrice at two independent, third-party labs for SPF, UVA - PF, Water resistance and Critical Wavelength using in vitro ISO 24443, IS 17493 and in vivo ISO 24443, based on the water content of the sunscreens, respectively.

Apply 4-5 pumps of the product on the face and the neck. For better durability of the sunscreen, you can also do three pumps and repeat the application with another three pumps after 15-20 minutes. You can also do three applications of 2 pumps each, allowing 10 minutes to dry between applications which will help you achieve the stated Sun protection.
Soft and creamy, Madras Marina SAFESCREEN™️ is compatible with makeup. Allow 5-10 minutes for the sunscreen application to settle down before wearing makeup.
SAFESCREEN™️ Madras marina is an outdoor sunscreen. Though it is water resistant, We suggest reapplying twice to thrice per day for complete protection.
If SAFESCREEN™️ alone is applied without any additional layering of products, Cleansing the face with a Deep cleanser at night would be adequate to remove the Sunscreen. If multiple products are layered/Make-up is applied along with Sunscreen, it is advisable to use a Biphasic Makeup Remover or Daily Exfoliants like Milk Route® Daily/Light Routine® Easy to prevent product build-up.
Yes, you can layer another SAFESCREEN™️ or one more layer of your Madras Marina Sunscreen. The second layer goes on 15-20 minutes after and over the first. If you wish to layer over with Besant sunscreen for a matte finish, use only a tiny quantity of the Besant sunscreen(just like how you would use a matte foundation).
If you have a combination to dry skin, you can use the WaterBody™️ moisturiser, which has been tested to be compatible with the SAFESCREEN™️ Sunscreens. If you have acne-prone skin, you may want to consider using an even lighter moisturiser like Sebamed Care Gel or a spritz of Avene Thermal Water Spray and then use sunscreen over it which applies if you live in an area with cold weather or low to normal humidity. If the humidity in your area is high and the climate is hot most of the time, you do not need a moisturiser under your sunscreen.
Yes! You can use the White Pine ®Mirror Glaze /White Pine® Mousse first, let it dry for 10-15 minutes and then apply SAFESCREEN™️ Madras Marina.
Light Routine®/Milk Route® are Chemical Exfoliants that are meant to be used in the evenings as they can make the skin photosensitive. So it is advisable to use SAFESCREEN™️ in the daytime to avoid sunburn as well as photopigmentation.
If you feel dryness or lack of moisture in your skin, we suggest you to apply a light moisturizer like the Sebamed Care Gel or OptiMIST™️ WaterBody™️ 5-10 minutes before applying SAFESCREEN™️ Madras Marina.
None of the ingredients in SAFESCREEN™️ Madras Marina are known to have any mutagenic potential. This product is not deemed to have any carcinogenic activity.
SAFESCREEN™️ Madras Marina sunscreen is a unisenx product. So, it can be used by men.
If you are looking for a Pregnancy-safe sunscreen, we recommend SAFESCREEN™️ Brigade Road, as it provides High Protection and has Water Resistance for up to 6 hours. So Brigade Road is a great option to provide Sun Protection for a longer duration which is ideal for use by Pregnant and Nursing mothers.
