Carefully squeeze out the sunscreen up to 1.5 cm. And gently blend the product on the skin of the face to provide you matte, compact finish. Avoid applying on a sweaty face. It works best when the face is dry, if need be, under or against a fan's airflow.
SAFESCREEN® Besant is for people who have greasy, acne-prone skin intolerant to regularly available sunscreens. It gives a dry touch finish which most greasy skin people desire.
With its soft matte dry finish, Besant sunscreen gives you the look of finishing cream. As it contains blended minerals, it may not be possible to layer on other foundations on top of the Besant. However, concealers and eye make-up are easy to apply over Besant. Avoid makeup steps that involve too much blending or rubbing into the skin.
SAFESCREEN® Besant is a starter Sunscreen. So it is recommended to reapply twice to thrice in a day to ensure complete protection.
If SAFESCREEN® alone is applied without any additional layering of products, cleansing the face with a deep cleanser at night would be adequate to remove the sunscreen. If multiple products are layered/Make-up is applied along with Sunscreen, it is advisable to use a Biphasic Makeup Remover or Daily Exfoliants like Light Routine® Easy /Milk Route® Daily to prevent product build-up.
We do not recommend layering over the Besant sunscreen. Besant sunscreen is the final layer in the layering, and does not easily take many other products on top of it, due to the mousse consistency. You may be able to add on a small quantity of make up, but a full layer may not be feasible.
If you have a combination to dry skin, you can use the WaterBody™️ moisturiser, which has been tested to be compatible with the SAFESCREEN® Sunscreens. If you have acne-prone skin, you may want to consider using an even lighter moisturiser like Sebamed Care Gel or a spritz of Avene Thermal Water Spray and then use sunscreen over it which applies if you live in an area with cold weather or low to normal humidity. If the humidity in your area is high and the climate is hot most of the time, you do not need a moisturiser under your sunscreen.
Yes! You can use the White Pine® Mirror Glaze /White Pine® Mousse first, let it dry for 10-15 minutes and then apply Safescreen Besant.
Light Routine®/Milk Route® are chemical exfoliants that are meant to be used in the evenings as they can make the skin photosensitive. So it is advisable to use SAFESCREEN® in the day time to avoid sunburn as well as photopigmentation.
If your skin is dry, we recommend using a mild moisturizer like the Sebamed Care Gel or OptiMIST™️ WaterBody™️ a few minutes before applying SAFESCREEN® Besant.
None of the ingredients in SAFESCREEN® Besant are known to have any mutagenic potential. This product is not deemed to have any carcinogenic activity.
SAFESCREEN® Besant sunscreen is a unisex product. So, it can be used by men.
If you have dry skin, apply moisturiser first, followed by sunscreen. If you have oily skin, try the product without moisturiser for a week, then add moisturiser if necessary.
