The all-new Cetaphil gentle cleanser is now free of parabens, sulfates, mineral oil and animal-origin ingredients and is not tested on animals at any stage of product innovation, development, or manufacturing processes. This revamp also includes redesigned sustainable packaging.
How does the new formulation differ from the old?
The old formula wasn’t vegan, paraben-free, sulfate-free, or cruelty-free and had the following ingredients - Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Stearyl Alcohol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben and Butylparaben.
The new formula is clean, vegan, cruelty-free and contains Water, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Panthenol, Niacinamide, Pantolactone, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Benzoate and Citric Acid. The specially formulated blend of Niacinamide, Panthenol and Hydrating Glycerin makes all the difference to the new face wash, along with the clean formulation.
Despite the earlier formulation being a little more milder, the new Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser still continues to be a top rated face wash, being the mildest among currently available face washes.
