What is the ideal dose if I am starting White Pine®?

If you are looking at skin hydration benefits, pigmentation conditions like melasma, and for internal UV protection, it is ideal to start at a dose of 75-100mg per day, for a period of 3 months. This can be taken ideally as 2-3 doses over the day, say 25 mg thrice daily. If you are likely to forget taking the pills, you can take it as a single dose, too.

How much of White Pine® Pycnogenol® should I be taking for an antioxidant effect?

The recommended maintenance dose for antioxidant effect is 25 mg once daily. This dose can be used after stepping down from your initial regimen.

What is a good protocol for skin health with White Pine® Pycnogenol®?

The dosage for internal sun/ UV protection, is around 50 to 75mg per day, which is also the dose for skin hydration and elasticity. After an initial lead in period of 3-4 months, the dose can be titrated to 25- 50 mg per day.
