Enjoy a refreshing and healthy treat with this Watermelon Sorbet recipe, featuring WAH-TOR™ Astaxanthin Collagen Builder for added benefits. Frozen watermelon cubes are blended with mint leaves, lime juice, and collagen powder to create a smooth and creamy sorbet.
Ingredients:
Watermelon - 250g
Mint leaves - 2-3nos.
Lime juice - 1tsp.
Warm water - 100ml
Collagen builder - 1 scoop (WAH-TOR™ Astaxanthin)
Method:
1. Remove the rind from the watermelon and cut the flesh into small cubes
2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread the watermelon cubes out in a single layer. Freeze the tray of watermelon cubes overnight, or until they are frozen solid
3. Once the watermelon is frozen, add it to a heavy-duty food processor along with the lime juice, mint leaves, and collagen powder. Pulse the mixture until it is smooth and well-blended
4. If the mixture is too thick to blend, add a little warm water to the food processor until it reaches the desired consistency
5. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 3 hours, or until the sorbet is set and firm
6. Once the sorbet is fully frozen, scoop it into bowls and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious and refreshing watermelon and mint sorbet!
